The rest of the teams at 3rd places and teams at 4th places, QF - SF - F.

Teams from 1st / 2nd place go to last 16. QF – SF – F follows. Together seven matches are played during the whole tournament.
Group 17th - 24th place
Teams from 3rd places after preliminary groups. QF – SF – F follows. Together six matches are played during the whole tournament.
Group 25th - 32nd place
Teams from 4th places after preliminary groups. QF – SF – F follows. Together six matches are played during the whole tournament.
If, after completion of the group matches, two or more teams have gained the same number of points, the following ranking system will apply:
a) period difference is subtracted in all matches.
b) greater number of plus periods in all matches.
c) greater number of plus goal points in all matches
d) common Match
